When you plan to use animal manure as biofertilizer, please attention to the water content of them. On August 7, 2024, we received an online inquiry from a customer from India. Because the moisture content of fresh cattle waste is too high. The customer can not use them as biofertilizer directly. So, they want to purchase the cow dung drying machine for the bio fertilizer plant. Finally, we provide a 2 t/h cow dung drying system for them. The following are the details of our communication.
How to reduce the moisture in fresh cow dung to make biofertilizer?
The Indian client plan to dewater 2 tons cow manure per hour. At the same time, they want to dry cow dung up to (3- 5)% moisture. Generally speaking , the water content of fresh cattle manure is about 70%. First, we advise the customer to use the cow manure screw type manure dehydrator. You can set the appropriate speed and pressure for the spiral dehydrator, let the spiral start squeezing, and gradually separate the solid and liquid of the cow waste. After dewatering, you can get the solid cow maure with water content of 20-30%. Next, you need to dry the cow dung.
How to dry cow dung with a water content of about 25% to 3-5%?
If you want to get the cow poop with water content of 3-5%, please use the rotary drying machine to remove the excessive moisture content from it. Through the rotating drying machine, the cow dung will continuously exchange heat with the hot air, so that the water evaporates. In order to prevent the loss of organic matter in the cow dung, we recommend that the customer maintain the drying temperature between 60°C and 80°C for the best effect. Under this temperature environment, the moisture content of cow dung can drop below 10%. This meets the customer’s requirements for the moisture content of the cow dung.
Can dehydrated cow dung be directly used in biofertilizer production?
No, although the dehydrated cow dung meets the moisture standard, it may contain harmful substances such as pathogens or insect eggs. So, we advise the customer compost and ferment the cow manure first to enhance its nutrient content and ensure the quality of the biofertilizer produced. During the composting process, mix the dehydrated cow dung with other organic materials. Such as crop residues, kitchen waste, ect. Afte composting process, through crushing, screening, granulating, and packaging, you can further process and formulate the decomposed cow manure mixture into biofertilizers.
What do Indian customers think of cow dung drying machine in their biofertilizer plant?
“After using YUSHUNXIN‘s cow dung dehydrator, our bio fertilizer manufacturing plant costs have been significantly reduced. And it can process 20 tons of cow dung every day, and the treatment effect is very good. I am very satisfied with the durability and performance of this equipment.” “We bought this cow dung drying machine, which has a very good drying effect. It really reduces the moisture to about 3-5%. Moreover, the dried cow dung is of high quality and suitable for the bio fertilizer production. Thank you very much!”
